We the REAL Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek Nation.
United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors, were appalled to find others
using our name. However, we have heard of this group and they
call themselves Mt. Arafat and their leader is Derrick H.
Sanders-El or Chief Latif. They are not registered members of
the Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek Nation whose
chief is Malachi Z. York or Maku "Chief". Black Thunderbird
"Eagle", who still maintain his innocence. Michael Jenkins is
not an officer of the Yamassee Native American Moors of the
Creek Nation, U.N.N.M. B.I.A. 208/1999, and Kevin Love is not a
member of our tribe. Michael Jenkins is an officer of Mt.
Arafat. We do not recognize this group and do not agree with
their tactics. The Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek
Nation, U.N.N.M. BIA 208/1999 follow the law. Mt. Arafat is a
group of disgruntled people who left the Nuwaubian organization
to form their own group. They are not followers of our chief.
Maku "Chief": Black Thunderbird "Eagle", also known as Dr.
Malachi Z. York. Like afore mentioned, they follow Derrick H.
Sanders-El.
We the REAL Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek Nation,
U.N.N.M. B.I.A. 208/1999 agree with Susan Sports, and have legal
driver's licenses and legal license plates. We do not recognize
Michael Jenkins or Kevin Love as members of our tribe.
Also, Rivka Jordan, who was just recently arrested on February
24, 2004 A.D. in Macon Georgia for possession of a narcotic
(marijuana) and allowing her pet dog to assault a peace officer,
is of the Navajo Tribe of Phoenix, Arizona. She is not a REAL
Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek Nation, and she is
not a member of United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors. We have had
our own problems with her in the past. Alpha Dangler and Joseph
Rodriguez, who were also arrested with Rivka Jordan, are not
members of our tribe either. It seems that those who oppose us
are claiming to be us when they get in trouble with the law. It
is not a coincidence. But we assure you that these people are
not affiliated with our tribe in any way. Not everybody that
claims to be a Nuwaubian is a Nuwaubian or even affiliated with Nuwaubians. There are many smaller groups of people and
individuals that discriminate against our tribe.
We can only hope that these isolated incidences in no way
reflect on our chief "Maku" Black Thunderbird Eagle, who is
innocent of all charges brought against him and will soon prove
this in Appellate Court.
We apologize for the confusion and for the actions of those
impersonating our tribe. please disregard any further contact
with
these groups. In our family guidebook titled: The Holy
Tabernacle Family Guide, inscribed by Dr. Malachi Z. York, it
states on page 39-40:
"Pledge no loyalty to any other country or government other than
the United States of America, if you are an American. If you are
in American from another country, follow our laws while here.
...You should have a passport, driver's license, social security
card, and you should have a proper identification card on you at
all times. ... Pay your taxes. Don't let your religious belief:
whatever they may be cause you to disobey the laws of America.
Do not commit crimes or permit crime in your presence."
Members of the REAL Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek
Nation, U.N.N.M. B.I.A. 208/1999 abide by this book, therefore
members of Mt. Arafat could not possibly be affiliated with our
tribe because they do not follow our family guide. Again,
Derrick Sanders El, Michael Jenkins and Kevin Love, are not
Nuwaubians.
Also under our 19 affirmations in the Little Guide Book for
Nuwaubians, written by Malachi Z. York, on page 116 it says:
"9. I don't disobey the laws of the government in which I live."
on page 117, it continue to say
"11. I don't become drunk or intoxicated, or eat unclean
things."
Furthermore, in the "The Dog" book #143, written by Dr. Malachi
Z. York, it states on page 126:
"Ques: So are dogs forbidden to man? Ans: Yes, if you have them
in your house running around, sleeping in your bed, bathing in
your tubs, eating from your plates, etc." This book was written
to show the history of dogs and how they can never really be
truly domesticated. Nuwaubians do not have pet dogs. This
further proves that Rivka Jordan, Alpha Dangler and Joseph
Rodriguez, are not Nuwaubians. They were found with drugs, and a
dangerous dog. This goes against the culture of our tribe and
our way of life.
Nuwaubians are inclusive of all religions and nationalities. A
Nuwaubian can be a Christian, a Muslim or a Jew. The allusion is
that to be a Nuwaubian you must be a specific race and belong to
a specific religion is simply NOT TRUE. Nuwaubians are made up
of people from all walks of life that are cultivated by the same
culture.
We, the REAL Yamassee Native American Moors of the Creek Nation,
U.N.N.M. B.I.A. 208/1999 uphold and obey the laws of this land.

GEORGIA MAN FROM PROMOTING ALLEGED TAX-FRAUD SCHEME
Atlanta Man Allegedly Helps
Customers Falsely Claim They Are Exempt from Federal
Taxes as Members of Purported Native American Tribe
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Justice Department
today asked a federal court in Georgia to stop Derrick
Sanders, of Atlanta, from promoting an alleged tax-fraud
scheme involving false claims that Native Americans are
exempt from federal income taxes. The government’s civil
injunction complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court
for the Northern District of Georgia in Atlanta, also
seeks a court order requiring Sanders to give the
Justice Department his customers’ names, mailing and
e-mail addresses, and telephone and Social Security
numbers.
According to the complaint, Sanders allegedly claims
to be the Grand Master Consul of the so-called Yamassee
Native Americans of Eatonton, Georgia, which was
previously allegedly known as the Nuwaubian Nation of
Moors. Sanders allegedly prepares forms for customers to
use to instruct their employers to stop withholding
taxes from their wages on the ground that Yamassee
members are not subject to federal income taxes. The
complaint states that the Yamassee group has not been
recognized as an Indian tribe by the government, and
that in any event all U.S. citizens and residents,
including Native Americans, are subject to federal
income taxes.
“Peddlers of tax scams and those who participate in
them cheat all law-abiding taxpayers,” said Eileen J.
O’Connor, Assistant Attorney General for the Justice
Department’s Tax Division. “The Department of Justice
and the Internal Revenue Service are working diligently
to stop the promotion of tax fraud.”
This injunction suit is part of an effort to stop the
promotion of tax scams and the preparation and filing of
false and fraudulent returns. The Justice Department has
obtained injunctions against more than 100 promoters and
tax-return preparers since 2001. More information about
